Your Vote: Old or New Cover?

Y’all know how much I love The Wrong Kind of Compatible by Kadie Scott

Just recently noticed there’s a new cover for the Kindle version. Wait, let me put up the original cover first:

And here’s the new cover for the Kindle:

And I have to say, I love the original cover!! Please, please, please, sometimes, a new cover isn’t needed.

What about you? What’s your vote?

Cover Love: It Takes Two by Jenny Holiday

I love this cover! I haven’t opened the virtual pages yet, and this cover already has me salivating and itching to get into it.

Why does this cover catch my attention?

  1. The book features an Asian heroine and the cover reflects that.
  2. I love that the two of them looks to be having fun and enjoying their togetherness, and if I know Jenny Holiday, the story would reflect that, too.
  3. Oooh, the guy!
  4. I love the mix of colors that result in a cover that is visually appealing!

Cover Love: The Backup Plan by Jen McLaughlin

There’s something about this book cover (okay, okay, the guy on the cover) that grabs at me:

I’m beyond help…

I threw a football before I could walk. Everything in my life revolved around football–and I loved every second. I was a star. Until, suddenly…I wasn’t. Now everyone thinks I’m the monster who killed his best friend. I’m an outcast on campus, silent and alone. Then Taylor Selmer walks back into my life. When will she learn–I’m beyond saving.

I need to save him…

Chase and I used to be friends. But after the accident, nothing was the same. We used to have something special–until we didn’t. But he doesn’t smile anymore. Doesn’t talk. Doesn’t play. It hurts me to see him this way, and I will do everything I can to get him back in the game. Whether he likes it or not.

Cover Comment: I am not Charmed

I loved Disenchanted by Susan Carroll, and here’s my review to show for it: http://www.theromancereviews.com/viewbooksreview.php?bookid=24298

The cover was good, in my opinion. Certainly not repulsive.

There’s still that fairy tale, fantasy vibe.

I was looking eagerly to the sequel, Charmless, which I just learned will come out in December, but sadly, I am not liking that cover! A sad Prince Charming?
