Looking Back on 2017

Following the tradition in 2015, doing an End of Year post in January instead, so that it’ll include EVERYTHING, up to what happened on Dec 31, 2017. I also thought it’d be good to have a comparison over the years of reading. I’m not good with charts, so it’ll have to be a summary.

2012

Total Books Read: 130 (Novella: 43)
Reviews Written: 76

2013

Total Books Read: 104 (Novella: 33)

2016

Total Books Read:  131 (Novella: 40 )

2017

Total Books Read: 127  (Novella: 46)
Reviews Written: 100
Genres most read: (at a glance) Contemporary Romance, YA, Historical Romance

I’m going to revise my excel spreadsheet so I can do a better job of reporting on the genres. Plus, I may actually be able to do a chart or pie graph or something

Books I want to read in 2016 (since I didn’t get to read them in 2015):

  1. The Immortal Crown by Richelle Mead – Update (12/24/2017) aw, no 3rd book because the publisher won’t contract it due to the low sales. The author mentioned she could self pub it, but she had to prioritize her legal obligations to contracted books. So when will this series be written and pubbed? No one knows. Guess I’ll have to wait until the entire series is out before I read this then. It’s better that way too, because I think I’ll need to read the first book (Gameboard of the Gods)  again!
